Hi, I’m Cass, the heart behind AKYN. My journey into holistic health began with a deep respect for nature and a passion for blending traditional wisdom with modern practices. Through Zenthai Shiatsu, herbalism, and intentional self-care, I’ve discovered that true wellness comes from aligning the mind, body, and spirit.

I am a certified Zenthai Shiatsu therapist, having completed over 650 hours of hands-on training. This modality combines Zen Shiatsu massage, Traditional Thai Massage, and osteopathic techniques, offering a powerful approach to addressing the body’s "software"—the patterns and imbalances that underlie physical discomfort.

My herbalism practice is rooted in deep connection and intentionality. I’ve studied grassroots herbalism with The Way of the Herbalist and am currently deepening my knowledge through their mentorship program. This foundation enables me to craft remedies that complement bodywork, creating a comprehensive approach to both immediate concerns and long-term vitality.

I offer handmade herbal tinctures, brewed for a minimum of six weeks to extract the active constituents from each plant. While they beautifully complement bodywork, these tinctures also stand alone as a supportive addition to cultivating balance and well-being within our bodies.
